The Exhibition
The Attack On Titan Final Exhibition commemorates the ending of the bittersweet, ambiguous anime that has impacted the lives of millions of its viewers.
Held at the ArtScience Museum of Singapore, it recaps from the heartbreaking beginning of season 1, to the 5 year character development and plot building shown through introductions of new enemies, titans and tragic events in seasons 2 & 3. It then finishes off by presenting a whole new organization and the deep history of how titans came to be.
To put it simply for those who have never seen Attack on Titan, the exhibition is a complete package of the whole anime and its beloved characters. It’s filled with larger than life graphics, with sound effects and videos shown along the way. It also displays an interview with the author, Hajime Isayama. He provides insights about his thought process while creating the manga and how he felt after completing it.

Personal Experience
Now, as someone who has seen the anime and finished the manga, this event was really heartwarming. It was delightful seeing all the characters from the past 3 seasons. As well as remembering the intense scenes and moments that happened to shift the story in different directions. This was another way to really go deeper into the characters.
Also, the exhibit gave me opportunities to show my family my knowledge about the anime and guide them through it. Different parts of the exhibition had views of the 2 main factions’ perspectives, so it really piqued my interest on the different yet similar lives they lead.
The only downside was the gift shop, as there was minimal variety and it was underwhelming. After going through the maze of episodes, there should have been more memorabilia like figurines. The souvenirs were also crazy expensive. Although the exhibit was great, the addition of effects such as smoke for the giant colossus titan would have made it even greater.
After going through the whole exhibit, I can confidently say that this experience was truly wonderful, yet melancholic. A final recap before the ending of the anime. As a viewer it was worth reliving 5 years of memories that I have kept along the way.
